Delhi Daredevils captain Zaheer Khan won the toss and opted to bowl first in the Indian Premier League (IPL) game against Kings XI Punjab in Mohali on Sunday.

Zaheer explained his decision, saying the pitch looked like a good one and it would be better to know what target to chase.

Zaheer’s Kings XI counterpart Murali Vijay said his side was up for the game, adding that Hashim Amla would make his IPL debut, stepping in for the injured Manan Vohra.
