Leading from the front, skipper Rohit Sharma smashed 62 off just 44 balls to guide Mumbai Indians to a comfortable six-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday.

Earlier, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL match at the Wankhede stadium on Wednesday.

Defending champions Mumbai were missing the services of bowling spearhead Lasith Malinga and opener Lendl Simmons due to injury, are off to a poor start this season, having won just one of their four games thus far.
