Film star and Jaipur Pink Panthers team owner Abhishek Bachchan visited Sawai Man Singh Stadium’s Indoor hall in Jaipur.

Bachchan bought the Jaipur Pink Panther’s team in the Pro Kabbadi League auction. The Jaipur Franchise team will play their first match in Jaipur on August 20 against Bengaluru Bulls.

He said he is here to see the facilities at the stadium. “After buying the Jaipur Pink Panthers team, I had decided to visit Jaipur and today I am here to see the facilities of Sawai Man Singh Stadium’s Indoor hall.”

“We will see what we can do for the betterment of the stadium,” he added. He met the Kabaddi Federation of India (KFI) president Janardan Singh Gehlot and chief minister Vasundhara Raje.

“I am very optimistic that the game of kabbadi will reach the public through live TV telecast and this will make the game more popular,” he said.

The seventh phase of the tournament will be played in Jaipur from August 20 to 23. A total seven matches will be played here. Jaipur team will play their four matches in Jaipur while 10 match in other districts. Two match each in Kolkata, Patna and Vishkhapatnam while one each will be played at Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Bangalore.
