Alwar: Nine juveniles flee correction centre

Nine juvenile criminals fled the Hasan Khan Mewat Juvenile Correction Centre on Wednesday after drilling a hole in the peripheral wall. Three of them have been captured, but six are still at large.

District Juvenile Officer, Bhagwan Singh told HT, “This morning (Wednesday), around 4:30 am, the children dug a hole in the bathroom wall, and nine of them got away.
Two of them were brought back here by their family members and another was caught by a home guard in the city. Six children are still missing. They have cases of dacoity, rape, loot, theft against them.”
