When Salvi was stepping out of the car, a truck container hit the vehicle from behind. Salvi and Mohan got stuck inside the car but driver Bansi Lal managed to come out of it.

A team of Sarada and Parsad police rushed the site and called the 108 ambulance.

Salvi died while being taken to a hospital. The body was handed over to his family after postmortem.

After more than an hour, the two injured constables were pulled out of the damaged car and rushed to the Community Health Centre in Parsad. They were later referred to MB Hospital for treatment.
