Efforts on to pull out Alwar girl stuck in borewell

Rescue operations continued for the second day on Thursday to pull out a six-year-old girl stuck in an over 100-feet deep borewell in Alwar district.

“Rescue team is making efforts to pull out the girl through a hook attacked with a rope lowered into the borewell because a separate digging parallel to the borewell is not possible,” police said.

6-year-old Komal and her brother, Rohit were playing near borewell on Tuesday evening. While Rohit came home after some time, Komal continued playing alone when she fell into the well which was dug about a week ago.
