Five killed as vehicles collide head-on near Jaipur

Five persons were killed and 12 others, including two children, injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling collided head-on with a private bus at Harmada near Jaipur, police said.

All the victims were travelling in the Tempo-Trax and they were on way to Laxmangarh from Jaipur to pay obeisance at the 'Baba's Mosque' near Sikar when the bus approaching from Opposite direction collided with it, Harmada SHO, Dharmveer, told PTI.

The deceased were identified as Munna Bhai, Anisha Begum, Shakeela, Maksood, and Shabnam, he said, adding the injured were rushed to the Sawai Man Singh Hospital and the condition of two of them were stated to be serious.

No one from the bus suffered any injury, he said.
