Muslims demand release of students

The civil societies on Wednesday demanded immediate release of suspected Indian Mujahideen operatives. The societies have threatened a demonstration if the youth are not released. Jamait-E-Islami Hind national secretary Mohammad Saleem Engineer said: “Leaders and police should stop dividing the society.”

Addressing newspersons he said recently Muslim youth are arrested from Jaipur and other places by police and in all the arrests, the rules are neglected, be it showing of warrant and or taking the neighbours into confidence.
