The Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) will conduct a special campaign on Monday to seek suggestions of commuters on provision of better services.
JMRC director (operations) CS Jeengar said the Metro, which started on June 3, is the state’s first and India’s sixth rail metro service that has so far carried 51 lakh passengers.
“For the first time in its five months of operation, a day special campaign will be held where 10,000 passengers will be asked for their suggestions on improving metro services and its usage,” he said.
He said anyone is welcome to give suggestions on JMRC’s website, besides via mails, letters or making entries in the suggestion and complaint books placed at the control room of stations. “For a direct contact or feedback, a campaign will be run on November 9 from 7 am to 9 pm,” he added.
Under the campaign, four employees at stations will fill a form on the passengers’ views to improve the rail services. In the form, passengers will be asked about their boarding stations and destinations, the duration of travel, their experiences prior to availing metro services and frequencies of their travels respectively.
Jeengar said the officials will use a software to analyse the information collected in the survey, which will help in developing feeder services, maximum usage of metro services and required facilities.
