Para-medical staff in the state will go on an indefinite strike from Tuesday demanding fulfilment of their demands.

The decision to go on strike was taken two days after an ultimatum, issued to the government of their demands such as cancellation of contract services, salary revision and basic facilities were not considered, said Abhishek Purohit, convenor of State Sangharsh Samiti in a statement in Jaipur.

All ambulance services and 108 call centre staff will boycott the work all over Rajasthan, Purohit said.

The staff did a dharna near Sahid Smarak in Jaipur from April 20 to April 24 to press for their demands and during this gave two days ultimatum to the government, he said.
