Rahul Gandhi's likely to hold rally on March 10

Pradesh Congress Committee president Sachin Pilot on Wednesday held a second round of meeting of Pradesh Election Committee in New Delhi.

According to sources, Pilot along with state party incharge Gurudas Kamat and Leader of opposition Rameshwar Dudi met each PEC member personally and sought their suggestions on probable candidates and status of sitting Members of Parliament.

Sources said Pilot, who is also chairman of PEC, discussed the party's political situation in the state with the members. The names suggested at the meeting and through various sources will now be put up before the screening committee.

A senior leader said Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi would most likely hold a rally in the state on March 10. However, the venue is still to be decided.

PEC members, including ex-chief minister Ashok Gehlot, Chandrabhan, union minister Girija Vyas and others were present at the meeting.

AICC general secretary CP Joshi was not present though.
