A teenage girl has alleged that two persons raped her when she fell unconscious after consuming a drug-laced drink, police said on Saturday.
The 16-year-old victim, resident of Naharsinghani village of Jhunjhunu district, has also accused a woman and her daughter in the case.
Police have filed a case and arrested two accused while the prime suspect is still at large.
The victim’s father told Mukundgarh police that the incident took place when the family had gone to attend some function on May 7 and their 16-year-old daughter was alone at home. In the evening, a village girl Mita (name changed) came and took away the victim to her house on pretext of meeting someone. There the two accused, identified as Anil and Satpal, were already present.
The complaint mentioned that Mita’s mother offered a drug laced drink to the victim after which she fell unconscious. Thereafter, Anil and Satpal took her away in a car and raped repeatedly. The family members searched and found the victim lying unconscious in an agricultural field. On regaining consciousness, the victim told the parents about the incident after which a police complaint was lodged. The police got medical test of the victim done and arrested Satpal and Mita’s mother. The police are searching for the main accused Anil. The police at Hanumangarh district have also been alerted as accused Anil serves a bank guard in Hanumangarh.
Jaipur woman alleges forced marriage
In Jaipur, a woman has accused a man of shooting an objectionable clipping after giving her a drug laced drink and later forcibly marrying her by blackmailing.
The matter has been reported at Vaishali Nagar police station.
The complainant, resident of Tagore Nagar, told police that accused Shubham Rawal shot her objectionable clips when she was unconscious. He blackmailed her to marry else he will make the video public. They got married at Arya Samaj temple. The man is now demanding money from her father, the victim has alleged.
The police have filed a case under sections 420 (fraud) and 384 (punishment for extortion) of the IPC and started investigation in the matter.
Man shoots wife in Alwar
In yet another murder incident in Bhiwadi police circle within three days, a man shot dead his wife at Gotoli village under Tapukada police station here on Saturday.
The accused, Harkesh, resident of Gotoli village, who works as a mechanic in a shop at Tapukada, ran away after committing the crime, said Vipin Sharma, deputy superintendent of police, Bhiwadi circle. The victim, Pushpa, 28, died on the spot, he said. The couple has three children.
Harkesh’s father has lodged an FIR against his son for killing his daughter-in-law. The cause of murder is yet to be ascertained.
It may be recalled here that a shopkeeper, Mahendra, was murdered near his house in Bhiwadi police circle two days ago. No one has been arrested in the case so far. In a Gujjar community meeting held on Saturday, the community leaders have warned the police to arrest the Mahendra’s killers by May 15 or else they would launch an agitation.
Man rapes woman in Bhilwara, FIR registered
A 40-year-old women of Dalit community, resident of Nimbahera area in Bhilwara, has filed an FIR against a person from the minority community for raping her since four years, police said on Saturday. She said the accused Mohammad Latif also threatened to rape her teenage daughter. A case in this regard was registered at Nimbahera police station in Chittorgarh on Thursday night. She said police were initially reluctant to register a case.
Woman found dead in Jaipur hotel
The police found dead body of a woman in a hotel at Sindhi camp area in Jaipur on Saturday. The police said the deceased came to hotel along with some man and the hotel staff reported her death. The efforts are on to identify the deceased and trace the man.
