Election department chief electoral officer Ashok Jain said that total 334 voters are registered at booth number 208 under Tonk-Sawai Madhopur Lok Sabha constituency. Four polling personnel who were deployed for election work on April 24 too, cas t their votes again using their election duty certificate.
It is to be mentioned that in second phase of polls on April 24 in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur parliamentary constituency, discrepancy in polling process was found here. Repolling was held on the orders of Election Commission of India on recommendation of election department.
It is to be mentioned that Lok Sabha polls were conducted in two phases in Rajasthan on April 17 and 24. In the first phase, polling took place in 20 parliamentary constituencies, while in phase two, polling was held in five parliamentary constituencies.
After the first phase of polls on April 17, repolling was held at three booths in Barmer and one in Churu on April 21 after complaints of bogus voting and booth capturing.
