Twenty-fifteen has been a politically eventful year for Rajasthan which saw the opposition trying to put chief minister Vasundhara Raje on the mat over her alleged role in helping controversial former Indian Premier League (IPL) chief Lalit Modi’s immigration.

The state figured in the national headlines over a tiger being declared man-eater against norms, student suicides in Kota and anti-corruption bureau making a big catch by arresting a senior IAS officer for his alleged hand in shady mines allocations. But Raje managed to get Resurgent Rajasthan rolling.

However, the year drew international attention when an alleged ISIS operative Mohammed Sirajuddin, who worked as a marketing manager with Indian Oil Corporation Limited, was arrested.
