The Special Operations Group (SOG) of police on Friday issued arrest order against former chairman of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), facing charges of “copying” Rajasthan Judicial Services (RJS) paper under print for his daughter.
Ex-RPSC chief Habeeb Khan Gauran has been absconding since a month now.
The arrest order was issued after he didn’t appear before the SOG for questioning.
The SOG has formed four teams to trace and arrest Gauran, said additional director general of police (SOG) Alok Tripathi.
He said Gauran had not appeared before the probe team despite a notice served on him. Tripathi said Gauran’s family had also expressed ignorance about his whereabouts.
The police had registered an FIR against Gauran on October 2 after the records at an Ahmedabad printing press showed that he had visited the facility and copied question papers in the garb of “proof-reading” them.
