Aam aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia on Sunday said the party wanted committed workers who wanted to work for the betterment of the society and not those who sought personal gains.
Sisodia was in the city to attend a meeting of party workers. Without naming anyone, he said they had no regrets over some people with self ambitions leaving the party. He was accompanied by AAP leader Jarnail Singh.
“We want people who can contribute to the party in a significant way and not those who come for media debates now and leave tomorrow,” he said.
Denying any rift in the organisation at the top level, he said in a democratic set up like AAP, every individual had freedom of expression. He said his reported tiff with Yogendra Yadav was blown out of proportion and claimed that Shazia Ilmi, who had resigned from the party after, would rejoin soon.
