PDP member Abdul Haq Khan was marshalled out from the assembly on Tuesday for causing disruption in the House during the question hour.

At the outset of the proceedings, Abdul Haq stood up and demanded helicopter facility to lift the ailing people in the far-flung area of Machil. However, speaker Mubarak Gul asked him to raise the matter after the question hour.

After a gap of few minutes, Abdul Haq tried to troop into the well of the House but was stopped by marshals. Abdul then entered into an argument with the speaker.

Expressing displeasure over the PDP member's conduct, the speaker asked the marshals to take him out.
Protesting against the speaker's move, other PDP members came to the front row of the House and demanded recall of Abdul Haq.

The speaker expressed displeasure over Abdul Haq's conduct, saying he comes to the well of the house time and again and creates disruptions in the question hour. "It is an injustice to the people whose questions remain unanswered due to disruptions,"he added.

However after the question hour, speaker allowed Abdul Haq to highlight the issue he wanted to raise.

The PDP MLA said, "Machil in Lolab constituency remains cut off for six months due to snowfall from the rest of the region. Due to accumulation of snow, it is impossible to reach the hospital in Kupwara. I demand that chopper services be provided to air lift patients from there".

"If ministers can use helicopters, then why these cannot be used for patients?", he added.
