JEE (Advanced) result 2017: Haryana’s Saurav Yadav bags AIR 6

Seventeen-year-old Saurav Yadav of Bhiwani, Haryana scored All India Rank (AIR) 6 in the JEE Advanced 2017.
Saurav Yadav of the coaching institute Resonance Eduventures Private Limited in Kota scored 330 out of the total 360 marks to clinch AIR 6 in JEE Advanced 2017.
Son of a CRPF personnel Pradeep Kumar and housewife Asha Yadav, Saurav had been preparing for the IIT-JEE for the last 3 years. He had scored 95.2% marks in his class 12 CBSE Board exams.
Revealing his success mantra, Saurav said that the guidance and help of teachers, clearing of doubts in Chemistry on WhatsApp, focusing on classroom teaching and solving extra questions helped him bag success in JEE Advanced 2017.
Talking about his study schedule, Saurav said he was in the habit of solving questions while listening to music and spared 1-2 hours for playing outdoor games. “I sleep around 8-to-9 hours and spend the remaining time on my studies,” he said.
Saurav said that he would like to seek admission in IIT-Mumbai in the Computer Science stream.
