The much-awaited talks to finalise the seat-sharing issue between Congress and Trinamool Congress for the coming Assembly elections in West Bengal ended inconclusively here tonight. Emerging from the one-hour meeting, Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee told waiting mediamen near his residence, "We have discussed seat sharing.

The discussion is inconclusive. "We will discuss it again." Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, however, did not speak to reporters and straightway left for her residence.
