Absence of Kerala state secretary Pinayari Vijayan stopped the CPI(M) central committee from discussing the issue of reinstating former Kerala chief minister V S Achuthanandan in the Politburo, who was expelled on disciplinary grounds in 2009.
Absence of Kerala state secretary Pinayari Vijayan stopped the CPI(M) central committee from discussing the issue of reinstating former Kerala chief minister V S Achuthanandan in the Politburo, who was expelled on disciplinary grounds in 2009. The issue has been shelved for 3 months.
Vijayan, the arch rival of Achuthanandan, skipped the central committee meeting in Kolkata on medical ground.
