Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Friday alleged some people in the guise of journalists had been ‘disturbing´ her election campaign and at rallies, causing a security problem.
“For some time now, I see some persons carrying cameras regularly surround me during rallies and at other functions. It makes me difficult for me to do my work. Anything may happen any time,” Banerjee said.
The Trinamool chief, who had a meeting with the Press Club authority immediately after her ‘padayatra´ from Poddar court area to Esplanade, alleged some persons, in the guise of scribes ‘whom I am not familiar with´, tried to push her during the campaign programme.
“I am feeling disturbed”, she said, requesting help of the Press Club authorities.
