Team India leaves for Guwahati

The Indian cricket team along with its support staff on Sunday left Kolkata for Guwahati to play the first of the five one-day matches against Pakistan on Monday.

The Indian cricket team along with its support staff on Sunday left Kolkata for Guwahati to play the first of the five one-day matches against Pakistan on Monday.

There was tight security all along the route from the hotel to the airport. A large number of fans of the Indian cricket team assembled at the airport to see off the team-members.

The team members are: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Gautam Gambhir, Virendra Sehwag, Robin Uthappa, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan, Praveen Kumar, Zaheer Khan, RP Singh, Sreesanth, Harbhajan Singh and Murali Karthik.

The manager of the team, Lal Chand Rajput, bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad and fielding coach Robin Singh also accompanied the team.
