West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee today said terrorists are hiding in the metropolis and warned about a possible attack.
"Terrorists are hiding in the city and Kolkata is not free from fear of a terrorist attack. We are very much concerned about it," Bhattacharjee, who is also in-charge of the Home (Police) department, said at a function to present medals to the police.
"I urge the task force in the city police to be more alert," he said.
He also lauded the performance of joint forces in Maoist-hit West Midnapore, Purulia and Bankura districts in the state.
