Dreams on canvas
Spandan is an ensemble of 30+ of Sangeeta Singh’s recent works mostly as oil on canvas but also some drawings on paper and an installation. The wistful visuals seem to emerge partly from her colourful real-life encounters and partly from some ethereal dream-world. Singh paints in oil on canvas, drawings on paper and also creates mixed media art. Of particular interest is her play with shadows, grids and objects.
