After waiting for more than a month, kids in the Capital will finally get a chance to witness the iconic characters from The Jungle Book performing live on stage. The Jungle Book Jive, an initiative by Fever Entertainment to educate as well as entertain kids, kicks off tomorrow.
As a part of the programme, auditions were recently conducted to shortlist 15 kids who will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform with the international troupe. The participants were selected on the basis of their stage presence, confidence, dancing and communication skills.
“Our aim is to bring world class entertainment for young audiences and Jungle Book Jive is an effort in that direction. The response to the auditions has enhanced our belief in the upcoming show. And, we are looking forward to spreading more joy through it,” says Puja Sharma, business head, Fever Entertainment. The campaign is co-organised by Just Because its Children and will see 12 shows over a span of five days.
While Rudyard Kipling’s child hero, Mowgli, and his entire gang of friends, Bagheera, Baloo, Akela and Kaa, will highlight the importance of friendship and teamwork, Sher Khan, the tiger, will play the classic villain.
