What do you think is the purpose behind the cliched kurta-jeans look for a street play actor?

This attire gives a sense of unity and helps to differentiate a street artist from a common man.                                                      Honey Singh, HMR Institute of Tech & Mgmt

For a street play performance, it’s far more comfortable to perform in a kurta, and it helps us when we make formations.
Palak Bhambri,  Indraprastha University

It’s a trend that is followed by all street play performers in India, then why change it? It gives us an identity.                               Pallavi Malhotra, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce

It’s the dress of a common man and while performing, you need to relate to your audiences. So what better dress than a kurta.
Prerna Arora, Jesus and Mary College

It gives you a sense of uniformity. For us, its a pride to wear this dress and it represents the college too.
Tia Sebastian, Maharaja Agrasen College
