The production underlines the current plight of Earth in Kal Yuga (the age of destruction), raising various environmental issues and how we as the earth’s inhabitants can live more consciously. It imbues all aspects that negate selfishness, consumerism and the negative facets of technology.

“I don’t know what my dance form is called. I celebrate India as well as the west. But please, don’t call me a fusion artist because that term is so played out,” clarifies Goura Prema, American danseuse and the director of Natya Nector.

The performance will see a cast of 40 people perform on stage. The music for the performance has elements of electronic, tribal, soft symphonies as also the world music. Also, top Indian fashion designers such as Tarun Tahiliani, Gaurav Gupta and Arjun Saluja have supported the costumes.
