The India Bridal Fashion Week will go to London with its first ever international edition in the year 2014, announced Vijay Singh, Chairman & Managing Director, Fashion One International.

“We're going to London next year. I believe that any specific industry requires a new market. If you look at the Indian fashion industry, every designer is a big name overseas as well. So why not go international," said Singh.

The extravagant do, scheduled to kick off on 23rd July 2013 at The Grand, Vasant Kunj, will showcase a range of bridal and couture collections along with jewellery collections by Azva.

When asked about the inspiration for his line for India Bridal Fashion Week, designer Suneet Varma said, "The look was inspired by the city of Pompeii, in the ancient Roman civilization. The hand crafted head gear, the intricately hand sewn lace and the hand beaten jewellery incorporates the original motifs which were found back then."
