We spotted several Bollywood divas rocking this kooky chic trend. While actor Sonam Kapoor paired her quirky sheer shirt-jacket combo with a skirt scrunched up from one side, actor Karisma Kapoor unleashed her inner fashion rebel by wearing a peplum jacket with a draped dress and fitted pants.

"I like this quirky trend. The surest way to pull off such a look is to trust your instincts in picking out an outfit and of course, have the confidence to pull it off," says designer Gaurav Gupta.

Image consultant Yatan Ahluwalia says the trend is the revival of the ‘80s, Madonna-inspired look. When trying out the attention-grabbing look, steer clear of over accessorising.

"Stick to solid hues and avoid teaming up clashing prints," says Ahluwalia. Also keep your body type in mind.

"Make sure your pick flatters your body,” says designer Raj Shroff.
