From classic monochromes to sheer indulgence, here are some of the hottest trends from the ongoing Paris Fashion Week.

Monochrome Palette
At Pascal Millet, grey tailoring and monochrome summer dresses were brightened up with metallics, and colourful silk stripes, as well as a semi-sheer organza.

Quirky, Kitsch Accessories
Vibrant enamel jewellery inspired by nature, stole the show that designer Manish Arora said was a tribute to Josephine Baker in the ‘Delirium’. The quirky prints, a Malhotra trademark, with flashes of neon, set the tone for the day.

Digital Prints
Bright florals and patch-worked futuristic digital print dominated the runway at Ground Zero. Philip and Eric Chu’s colour-blocked peep-toe boots worked well.

Snakeskin Touch
Marcel Marongiu showed plenty of python accessories and snakeskin finishes, alongside geometrical prints, tiered layers of optical fibre fringing, and patchworked leathers.

Barbed Wires and Florals
The central motif of Dries Van Noten’s show was a vicious barbed wire print, which came accompanied with girly ruffles. Dark, romantic florals, tassels and embroidery completed the picture.
