After petrol pumps offering a discount to all those who get inked on April 10, it’s city restaurants that have decided to proffer discounts to those who will vote this Thursday.

While some have planned a 10-15% discount on the final bill, others have decided to slash prices on April 9, a day before Delhi goes to polls, for all those who come with their voter IDs.

Pranay Kumar of Roost Bistro, Hauz Khas Village says, "We want to encourage people to vote. We feel this is how we could do our bit towards the nation."

Restaurateur Priyank Sukhija adds, "Now that April 10 has been declared a holiday, it’s all the more reason to encourage people to come out and vote. We will offer a 10% discount to voters at all our outlets."
