Amid the hustle bustle of Hauz Khas Village is this quiet eatery with an earthy wooden decor —Pizzeria Rossa. As the name suggests, the place specialises in pizzas — of ALL types! Hand-made pizzas baked in an Italian wood fired oven are served with interesting toppings that include the not-so-Italian Special French Fries Pizza (Rs 350).
The must-tries in the non-vegetarian section include the Piccante (Rs 450) that comes with a generous topping of pepperoni, black olives and parmesan, and the chicken-cranberry brie pizza (Rs 455). Vegetarians can feast on grilled zucchini, mint and goat cheese pizza, and the four cheese pizza called Quattro Formaggio (Rs 425).

The options in this section are currently limited so it could be like a bit of a spoiler for staunch vegetarians, but soon, more variety is expected to be introduced. You can team up your pizzas with a variety of soups, mocktails and cocktails. Don’t miss the coffee banana shake (Rs 200) and the strawberry punch (Rs 180).

If you are looking for some light bites, you could nibble on the interesting starters such as Arancini, crumbed risotto stuffed with mozzarella, served with a spicy tomato sauce and green pepper salsa, priced at Rs. 265. You must try the wood-fired chicken marinated in homemade pesto, and served with green salad (R345) for the sheer aroma. If you love music, head here on Fridays for a live saxophone performance.
