While Delhi was out on the streets showering the town with rainbow-hued kisses as reported earlier, what trended on Twitter was #SickOfLove, with many a user slamming the Delhi chapter of the Kiss Of Love protest.

The 300 plus participants walked from Jhandewalan to RK Ashram to claim their right to public display of affection, while the Delhi Police tried their level best to keep the right wingers and the protesters apart.

One of the organisers, Pankhuri Zaheer, a student of JNU, said, "Rape or crime se nai, chummi se darte hai!"

Monish Kabir Malhotra, an LGBT activist, added, "Yeh badhra ki paribhasha kaha se padhkar aaye hai? They (the right wingers) should be sent to Khajuraho and Ellora caves for sex-ed."

“Road par pyaar-mohabbat rape ko badhava dena hai,” said Abhishek Mishra, 24, a Bajrang Dal supporter. His complaint was, “Yeh sab missionary log sirf Sangh ka naam ke kyun le rahe hai. Pyaar mohabbat sahi, hum is pradarshan ke khilaaf hai”.

Meanwhile, ACP Om Prakash, who was present on ground, said, "No comments. Bachhe hai. Enjoy kar rahe hai."

The supposedly non-violent movement turned into shoves and public beating up of a few supporters, with some being detained but released soon after.
