If you thought steaming hot love sessions are the key to a successful relationship, here is an equally steaming food for thought. Sharing a cup of tea or coffee with your significant other is the way to go, or so a recent report suggests. More so, if you yourself have brewed your partner’s favourite hot drink.
According to the research, many women believe that the secret to a healthy relationship is receiving a hot cup of tea or coffee made by their partners, rather than engaging in hot sex.
The author of the report Dr Jacqui Gabb says, “Actions really do speak louder than words and many people consider a loving gesture to be as valuable as hearing ‘I love you’. Grand romantic gestures, although appreciated, don’t nurture a relationship as much as bringing your partner a cup of tea in bed, or watching TV together.”
As the weather in the city gets colder, sharing a hot drink with your lover is a cool idea. What’s more, wake up earlier than usual and surprise him or her with their favourite hot drink to make their mornings brighter. “It makes one feel really special when your girlfriend wakes you up in the morning with a cup of coffee. I think it is very romantic gesture,” says Palash Bedi, 25, a musician in the city.
So, if you and your significant other have been spending considerable time apart or cannot squeeze in time for some steamy lovemaking, it is time to take the easier way out and bond over a cup of coffee instead! (with inputs from ANI)
