This huge water park built on Yas Island, which is already the site of a Ferrari theme park, will offer unique attractions including the Dawwama, which park owners claim is the biggest water slide in the world. The slide, which measures 238 meters long, will be able to accommodate six people at a time in its 20-meter funnel.
Another record: the biggest artificial waves in the world will be created so that amateur and pro surfers can practice the water sport without looking up wind conditions. At the Bubble's Barrel, they will be up to three meters high.
The park will also feature eight restaurants and boutiques.
Yas Waterworld can host up to 6000 people a day and will be open from 10am to 6pm in Winter (8pm in Summer). Tickets cost AED 225 (US$61) for adults and AED 185 (US$50) for children.
Yas Waterworld, which is near Ferrari World, will also offer a Yas Park Pass which grants entrance to the two parks at AED 350 (US$95) for adults and AED 285 (US$78) for children.
