AAP’s candidate from West Delhi, Balbir Singh Jakhar said that the party has prepared the manifesto based on the issues raised by locals during poll campaigns. “Some of the demands of the residents were higher education institutions, development of skill centres to impart job oriented training to the youth, development of multilevel parking lots to decongest West Delhi roads, road map for controlling pollution and renaming of local community centres in the names of martyrs and freedom fighters,” he said.

The party has also promised the maintenance of Delhi Development Authority (DDA) roads and promised to take up issues of Central Government Housing Societies (CGHS) in West Delhi.

AAP’s candidate for Northeast Delhi, Dilip Pandey, in his manifesto has promised better roads and decongestion plans — including construction of a Bhajanpura to Bhopura flyover. Releasing his party’s manifesto, Pandey said, “The Aam Aadmi Party has already fulfilled all the promises it made ahead of the 2015 assembly elections and that’s why people have faith in the party. We will also fulfill each promise we make in this manifesto.”

Besides, Pandey also promised to start work on Metro Phase IV in northeast Delhi, setting up new schools, colleges, libraries and hospitals in different localities and taking steps to curb air pollution in neighborhoods.

“This manifesto contains all the services which the people of North East Delhi are deprived of and we will fulfil each of them if elected to power,” Pandey said
