Ten fresh cases of swine flu were reported from the state capital on Monday along with one each from Rae Bareli and Barabanki taking the total number of cases in the state to 935.
The total number of people screened for H1N1 in UP was 2,181, of which 935 had tested positive. So far, cases had been reported from 30 districts.
With the temperatures expected to go up in the coming days, experts hoped that there might be a decline in the number of cases. But until then, people must remain cautious against the spread of swine flu, they warned.
“Avoiding crowded places will help one and all as infection will not spread,” said Dr PK Gupta, spokesperson of Lucknow Association of Practicing Pathologists and Microbiologists (LAPPM).
