Eleven people were today killed and 15 injured in eight villages in Soraon tehsil in Allahabad district in duststorm related incidents, they said.
Four persons were killed in three villages of Unnao district late last night, sources said.
On the directive of Chief Minister Mayawati, the local administration provided an ex-gratia of rupees one lakh each to kin of victims in two districts.
The chief minister also directed to ensure free treatment to those injured in these incidents.
Mayawati has directed the officials to visit affected villages, survey houses damaged in the dust storm and ensure payment of compensation from the calamity fund.
