In a shocking incident, three bike-borne students tried to run over a police sub-inspector in the heart of the state capital on Saturday when he sought to check their vehicle papers, police said. Two of them were arrested.
The incident took place near the divisional commissioner's office when the 50-year-old Parmatma Singh waved at a bike (UP32 AV 4440) to stop and show the vehicle's papers.
