Court holds two LeT militants guilty under POTA

A local court on Friday held guilty two terrorist of Lashkar-e-Toiba under POTA act and other sections of the Indian Penal code and has fixed August 10 for the hearing on the point of quantum of punishment.

A local court on Friday held guilty two terrorist of Lashkar-e-Toiba under POTA act and other sections of the Indian Penal code and has fixed August 10 for the hearing on the point of quantum of punishment.

Sessions Judge Shivanand Mishra has held LeT ultras Atharuddin and Mohammad Irfan guilty under POTA.

According to the prosecution, both of them were arrested on March 12, 2004 by the Special Task Force in Lucknow and AK 56, ammunition and other illegal things were recovered with them, as per prosecution.

An FIR was lodged in a Chinhat police station by STF Inspector AN Shukla had lodged the FIR in this matter.
