The Lucknow district administration has ordered a security audit in all schools in the state capital following a terror threat on a city school, an official said on Monday.
District Magistrate Raj Shekhar has asked all schools to ensure that security arrangements are in place.

Police have asked schools to appoint separate armed guards at exit and entry points and advised them not to allow outsiders inside premises and demanded adherence to the ‘standard procedure for dealing with any terrorist attack on schools’ manual.
Education department officials were ordered to review the security preparedness of schools from time to time.
Last week, police received threat about a possible terror attack on a prominent school in the city’s Gomtinagar area. Later it was dismissed a rumour.
