There’s good news for green gas users, as the city would soon have two more CNG mother stations - one near Telibagh behind Akash Enclave Sector 6 and the other in Vrindavan colony, Sector 18 near Police Lines.

R Chaddha, MD, Green Gas Ltd said the pumps would become operational by Marchend. These fuel stations would have a capacity of around 30,000 kg per day, which could be extended to 45,000 kg per day.

The vehicles coming from South City to Ashiana CNG station would be benefited.

With the commissioning of these two CNG pumps, the number of mother stations in Lucknow would go up to four.

These pumps would have the capacity to cater to around 5,000 vehicles per day. At present, there are around 30,000 CNG-fitted vehicles in the city and the number is going up with each passing day.

Meanwhile, the special offer for PNG connections has drawn good response. Chaddha said the scheme was closed now as the company had achieved its target of 5,000 registrations.

These connections were offered in Ashiana sector K, LDA colony sector G (Kanpur road), Vipul Khand and Vibhuti Khand in Gomti Nagar at 50% rebate.
