The Samajwadi Party would go to the masses with the development work undertaken by it and again form the government in Uttar Pradesh, said chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday.
He was in Agra to launch the website of the Indian Shooting Association. Yadav also unveiled the logo of ‘desi dhanush’ – the Indian version of crossbow and lauded the role of medallists Rajat Vij and Hina Vij for promoting the sport in India.
Office-bearers of World Association of Crossbow and players from Sweden, Portungal, US and Japan were also present on the occasion.
Later addressing the gathering, the chief minister spoke about development projects in UP, including Inner Ring road, expressway, electricity and road network.
He expressed confidence that the Samajwadi Party would again form the government in the state as it had done maximum development work.
Reacting to a recent survey that placed the BSP ahead of the SP, Akhilesh stated it was no reason to get ‘demoralised’ and rather it had woken the party up.
