At least two people were killed and eight others injured in an explosion at a scrap dealer's shop in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district on Wednesday, police said while ruling out any terror angle to the blast.
"The explosion took place this (Wednesday) afternoon at a scrap dealer's shop in the Nai Basti area," police inspector Pankaj Rai told IANS over phone from Mathura, some 300 km from here.
"We are yet to ascertain the nature of explosion. The death toll in the mishap may go up as of the eight injured, four are critical. All the injured are in hospital," he added.
