The Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee today announced to launch a campaign against alleged corruption of the state government, from January.
"From January, figures relating to failure of the state government on issues related to public and corruption done by it in central schemes will be prepared at block and village level," UPCC president Rita Bahuguna Joshi said while addressing a Congress yatra to celebrate 125 years of the party.
She said that based on these figures, a chargesheet would be prepared against the state government and a rally will be organised in the state capital to expose the wrong doings of Mayawati regime.
Alleging that there was no law and order in the state, Joshi claimed that even "dalit women were not safe in dalit rule". "The Chief Minister is concerned about his security only and she is not bothered about the safety of the people," she alleged.
