Yogi government transfers 41 IAS officers in major reshuffle 

This is the second reshuffle by the BJP government which had transferred 20 IAS officers on April 12.

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Yogi Adityanath government shifted 41 IAS officers, including nine commissioners and seven district magistrates, on Tuesday.

Additional chief secretary and chairman of UP Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) Sanjay Aggarwal has been divested of his charge as chairman of Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.

Resident commissioner of UP in New Delhi Dr Prabhat Kumar will take over as the new chairman of Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.

Additional chief electoral officer Anil Garg will be the new commissioner of Lucknow while DM, Basti, Prabhu Narain Singh will replace the vice-chairman of the Lucknow Development Authority Satyendra Singh Yadav who has been put on the wait list.

Rajiv Rautela, who was awaiting posting, has been made the district magistrate of Gorakhpur, the home town of chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

The seven divisions whose commissioners have been transferred are Lucknow, Allahabad, Agra, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Devipatan, Bareilly and Meerut.

The DMs of Gorakhpur, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Kanpur (rural), Jalaun, Shahjahanpur and Mirzapur have also been transferred. Mirzapur DM Kanchan Verma will be the new vice-chairman of the Ghaziabad Development Authority.

This is the second major reshuffle by the BJP government which had transferred 20 IAS officers on April 12.
