The cast and crew of upcoming Punjabi movie, 'Myself Ghaint', which is slated for a March-21 release, came to a local hotel for promotions here on Tuesday.
The movie casts Gaurav Kakkar, who previously featured in 'Sadda Haq', and Dolly Sidhu, Bollywood playback singer and actress. The movie, which is produced by Theatre Army Productions, is directed and written by Akashdeep S Batth, while the music is given by Vgrooves.
The romantic-comedy revolves around the lives of three friends who lead a boring lifestyle until an incredible sequence of events unfolds in their lives, putting them high on a pedestal.
Sidhu said, "The movie has a great storyline. The shooting was a lot of fun with such talented people around."
The movie's script is quite interesting and I am sure every youngster would connect to the movie, said Kakkar.
Sharing his views on the Punjabi movie industry, the actor added, "Punjabi movie industry has definitely made a mark. However, I think comparing it with Bollywood is just unfair for the Punjabi industry."
The director claimed that the movie was unlike any other rom-com of Punjabi cinema. "We promise to deliver something new to the audience. We have laid more emphasis on technicalities, locations, narration and presentation of the movie," he added.
