VITAMIN C TABLETS
Vitamin C helps speed up the absorption of minerals. While the ideal way to consume vitamin C is through citrus fruits such as oranges, lemon, Indian gooseberry (amla) etc but one can also go for tablets. Neomee Shah, nutritionist and health expert, says, “Vitamin C tablets work well as an alternative for their natural counterpart. One can easily pop them whenever they wish to. The properties of vitamin C help in keeping one hydrated, energised and promotes healthier and glowing skin.”
Wet wipes are a saviour. They are an alternative to hand sanitisers and a good quality variant will help you clean the dirt.
Due to the heat and sweat, the energy levels can get low. One can go for granola bars to revive energy levels. Though not all granola bars are healthy as some contain high amount of preservatives and sugar. Expert suggests that one should always look for bars, which use natural ingredients as sweetener, such as dates, raisins etc. These bars then work as a wholesome meal containing oats, dry fruits and healthy seeds.
While some munchies might leave your mouth dry and dehydrated, especially during the summer days, peppermint works as an alternative to get some moisture back. It can be consumed in any form either as gum or mouth freshener. “It works with the salivary glands and keeps the mouth hydrated and also refreshes one because of its cooling effects,” says dietician Apoorva Saini.
