Restricted to three timed laps, Munjal set the pace in qualification, with a fastest lap of 2:05.71 mins. Bafna was almost a second slower and joined Munjal on the front row. Sandeep and Angad Singh Matharoo started in the 3rd and 4th positions respectively.

In the race, Munjal raced from pole to chequered flag. Sandeep and Bafna had a good battle for the second spot but Sandeep managed to pull away to finish 2nd. Romani De Silva was the best of the local drivers, finishing fourth

An ecstatic Munjal said, "Winning here for second time in a row feels amazing. Getting pole position a second quicker than the competition gave me a confidence boost. Though I started with a few mistakes in the opening lap, I managed to keep the lead and made no further errors."
