The Rabale MIDC police have booked two people for allegedly raping a 28-year-old woman in a car on Monday.
According to the police, one of the accused had taken some money from the victim’s brother last year ad was taking time to repay it.
The victim, who stays in Dockyard Road, had been asking for the money from the accused for several months.
“In her statement, she has said that the accused called her to Vashi on Monday evening on the pretext of returning the money. When she reached, she saw another person in his car. The two men took her to Ghansoli in the car and allegedly raped her inside it,” said an officer from Rabale MIDC police station.
